About the Team
The Director of Forecasting and Reporting will be a part of the Corporate FP&A team at Nutanix. This team is responsible for driving the financial analysis and strategic decision-making for the company. They work closely with the Strategic Finance team, Executive team and department heads to understand business objectives and provide insights and recommendations. The team is highly analytical and process-oriented, with a focus on developing and managing financial models for forecasting and reporting. They play a critical role in long-range planning, budgeting, and driving overall business strategy.
Your Role
Own forecast for current year and quarter P&L, FCF, ARR, GRR, NRR.
Support Strategy team in company-wide long-range planning and AOP.
Strategic financial counsel to executive team
Prepare materials for board meetings and support strategic initiatives.
Perform budget/forecast versus actual analysis and generate insights for senior management.
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to executive leadership.
Provide ad hoc analyses and critical messages to executives and leadership.
What You Will Bring
· 10+ years of progressive growth in Finance, Strategy, or Operations Enterprise SaaS experience
· MBA preferred
· Ability to develop strategic and long-range plans.
· Strong presentation and communication skills Highly analytical and process oriented
· Skilled at building and driving new frameworks and processes.
· Advanced Excel and analytical skills
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
